Crankbrothers Joins BCBR Family!!

What a week! We are also thrilled to announce that Crankbrothers has joined the BCBR sponsorship family and will be providing each racer with a custom laser-etched multi-5 tool.

According to Jason First, Crankbrothers Rider Support, "Crankbrothers is excited to join BCBR and your epic journey. Along with a true mountain bike experience, racers will receive a commemorative laser etched BCBR mutli-5 tool...adding to the experience and memories. Plus, there’s more on the way from Crankbrothers!"

Syncros Signs On With BCBR!

We are proud to announce that Syncros has joined the BC Bike Race family of sponsors and will be providing a BC Bike Race custom handlebar to all racers in the 2008 event!

Syncros will also have a limited number of custom BCBR stems available for sale for those racers who really want to pimp out their cockpit! Details coming in your next Racer's Newsletter!

L2S Contest 3 Finalists Announced - Vote Today!!

When we put this contest together, we thought it would be a hit, but we couldn't have imagined the depth and breadth of stories that we'd receive from such a vast array of entrants! Thank you to all who took the time and effort to submit your entry...we laughed, we cried, and sometimes even scratched our heads...but all in all really enjoyed sharing your riding passion with you.

We handed over all valid entries to our panel of "celebrity judges"...

Wanna know who made it to the next round? Check out the 3 Finalists and decide on your favourite. You have until June 11th to place your vote...and you can only vote once, so make it count!

On June 12th, we'll tabulate the votes, announce the winner and make two people outrageously happy with two tickets to ride and up to $20000 in swag!

L2S Contest - Final Random Draw Winners Announced

Amid a flurry of submissions coming in the final days of Phase One, we made the last random draw for some great swag from our sponsors. We've had two winners drawn since the last newsletter:

• Tim Farrar and his riding buddy, Rob McDougal, each won a Suarez custom BC Bike Race cycling outfit and a pair of Ryders sunglasses (their choice of style)!!
• Dave Huntley and his riding buddy, Trevor Jones, each won a full cockpit (bar/stem/seatpost) of their choice from Syncros!
   

We've got a fantastic group of sponsors on board with us this year, and they've contributed some amazing swag to this contest. We know that all the lucky random draw winners will wear/use their swag...and with pride! Enjoy!

Sunny Sunshine Coast!

The BCBR Management Team got together for our monthly meeting last weekend...and this time we were in the beautiful Sunshine Coast area - Sechelt to be exact. Beautiful weather, spectacular singletrack, and one power meeting made for a great weekend. Read all about it here.
