We've Got You Covered

From start to finish, we'll take care of all the logistics to get you from Shawnigan Lake to Whistler on your bike. We'll transport your bags, set up your tent, arrange your ferry transfers and make sure you're reunited with your belongings at each transition.

Aid Stations

We'll have 2 fully-stocked Aid Stations along the route each day with water, energy drinks, fruit, bars, gels and snacks...all the fuel you'll need to stay fired-up along the way!

Note: We will not be able to stage personal food/water supplies for racers at any of the Aid Stations. You must be self-sufficient when it comes to bringing specific personal nutritional supplies.

Technical Support: Baby your bike!

We will have world-class bike service at your disposal each day. It is a long haul and your bike will take a beating. You'll have access to our pressure wash and bike lube station with free bike lube and air, self-serve bike repair and daily secure bike storage. Would you prefer our top-notch mechanics to tune your ride? We will also be offering a pay-as-you-go program where you can hand in your bike to get looked after each day. James Wilson, our Technical Services Director, and owner of North Vancouver's Obsession: Bikes, has pulled together a talented team of wrenches to baby your bike.

Physical Support: Baby your body!

You'll be putting in long days and demanding a lot from your well-trained machine (and we mean your body this time!). We will have top-notch massage therapy and chiropractic services to pamper your hard-working body at the end of each day. We have several Registered Massage Therapists and a Chiropractic Doctor who will be available until 9pm daily (except Day 7). Sessions will be offered in 30, 45, and 60 minute blocks and you can book time with them in advance starting on Day 1.

Moral Support: Bring your family and friends!

Though you don't need a tech support team, you are welcome to bring a moral support team.

Please note that all moral support people must be entirely self-sufficient. All meals, support and tented accommodations provided by BC Bike Race are for registered racers only. There is no option for non-racers; however, we will be offering a Support Tourism Program to assist you in making arrangements for your friends and family if they wish to come along.

In the Support Tourism Program, we will provide recommended travel routes and maps to get your entourage from the start to the finish each day. We have listed options for BC Bike Race recommended accommodations and ferry schedules throughout the course. There will be limited camping available near BC Bike Race Base Camp sites, as well as limited RV, camper and van parking. Specific details for Base Camp, optional accommodations, and ferry crossings (where applicable) are posted under each Stage page in The Route section.

And don't forget our Official Travel Partner and in-house travel agent - Flight Centre Active - they will help you make travel and accommodations arrangements for your moral support crew too!
